在繁忙的日程中，林俊杰突然意识到自己一向在为梦想打拼，把全部的精力都献给了作业，有时没有调整好心态而演变成恶性循环，在不知不觉中变得很负面，很软弱，对自己越来越生疏，所以他写下了这首《不为谁而作的歌》，期望通过音乐倾听自己内心的独白，找回自己，并向社会传达正面能量，一起将心中的感谢诉诸歌曲，献给生命中曾向他伸出援手的人。
In the busy schedule, Lin Junjie suddenly realized that he had been working hard for his dreams and dedicated all his energy to work. 在专辑还没有彻底揭露的时分，JJ在记者试听会的某个采访上说过，这首歌是他在心情濒临崩溃的时分写下的。我第一次听的时分，听到副歌部分打了一个激灵，紧接着滚车轮般的唱法，一声一声的往前赶，我感触到了强烈的自我拉扯感，自己的心情也被带动着难受。能够理解为这是JJ长期负面心情堆集后的迸发，那时分他应该是受到了什么打击。
不为谁而作的歌
从歌词来看，虽然咱们都说肤浅，但我觉得还不错，歌词写的逻辑性不是很强，有点看不懂，但这便是JJ其时的心境，迷茫，难受，置疑，自我拉扯。整夜整夜的不能睡，许多许多事情都需要从回忆中从头探索，忧虑自己会忘记谁。
最后反反复复问的“她是谁”，JJ说他也不能确定“她”究竟代表什么，便是想发问，或者说为自己的置疑找一个载体而已。后边撕裂的高音，是一种在实在面临全部是却惧怕面临，但又不得不面临的无法。整首歌应该是处在一个心情抵达至高点，急需宣泄的环境下写出来的，所以能够很好的把这种自我拉扯的心情传达给作为听众的咱们。能够理解为这是JJ的自我宣泄。
这的确也是一首很正能量的歌，首先在mv的开端黄子佼就有问林俊杰有没有想要感谢的人？要不要写一张表格？其时老林的答复是我写歌，毋庸置疑便是这首歌。mv中放入了很多感人的视频其中公交车上的紧急事情和学校霸凌事情都是从受助者的角度去显现（通过mv中呈现的字幕可看出），而车下抬人，出租车司机的感动举动又是从协助者的角度去展现。这就验证了mv最后的独白：生者互助。
